For an unforgettable adventure in the wilderness of Southwestern Colorado, Trail Skills provides Guests with the incredible opportunity of full service pack trips.  Allow our family to guide you into the breathtaking Weminuche Wilderness or Rio Grande National Forest.  Each trip is custom tailored to the wants and needs of our guests, however availability is very limited, sorry!

 About Our Pack Trips  

Trail Skills, Inc. is our family owned and operating outfitting services here  at Lost Trail Ranch.  Together, our family  offers Guests fully guided Pack Trips into the Weminuche Wilderness and the Rio Grande National Forest.  There is no better way to enjoy the unsurpassed country experience, getting far into the incredible San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado, and still enjoy the comforts of service provided by our experienced and knowledgeable Guides.  Our Pack Trips provide our Guests with full service - horseback riding, packing in gear, setting up camp, and preparing memorable and delicious camp fire meals. 

Trips are tailored to the wants and needs of our Guests, and may last from an overnight excursion, to five days and four nights in Camp.  Due to our need to also be here at the Ranch to be with our our cabin guests, we are only able to provide a limited number of trips each summer.  Our Horse Packing Season is from mid June through mid September.  Average pricing is $250 per person per day, with a minimum of four Guests per trip.  Prices will vary according to the services provided for the Guests.  Each trip is custom designed for your group.  Please Contact Us for more information, or with any questions you may have regarding planning your upcoming Pack Trip with Trail Skills, Inc.
